Taskenator is a global freelance marketplace that connects trusted taskers and savvy customers worldwide. We make job opportunities easy for taskers (freelancers) and customers by eliminating the 9-to-5 work model and providing them with a more flexible alternative. Our platform is fast, simple and easy to navigate.
Simply click on the ‘Sign Up’ link in our main page so you could fill in the registration form. Once completed, click ‘Submit’ and your account will be created. You may upload an image if you wish to do so.
Users may verify their identity by simply clicking Menu then choosing Edit Profile under Settings. A scanned copy or a high-quality digital photograph of any of the three types of documents needs to be uploaded to prove their identity (Passport, Driver’s License, Voter’s ID). The country from which the document is released as well as it’s expiry date should also be inputted.
The ID verification process may take a few days. Once the document is uploaded, Taskenator will verify it along with the information from the user registration. Users uploading an ID which is written in their local language or alphabet will be asked to upload another ID written in English for easier verification. ID’s like Passports are preferred.
Taskenator administration will flag you as verified once the document matches the user’s identity. Matching information from user’s registration and accurate documents uploaded will expedite the verification process. Users may be contacted by Taskenator administration if documents are not clear and/or further information is needed.
Government issued ID’s like Passport, Driver’s License, and Voter’s ID are the only approved documents for the ID verification process. ID documentation uploaded should be in English format for easier verification. If you upload a document written in a foreign language or alphabet, you will be contacted to submit another approved document written in the English language, this may delay the ID verification process.
- Acceptable documents include Passport, Voter’s ID & Driver’s License showing your full name, picture, date of birth and address.
- Your information should match the details on the account.
- The photo should be the front view of the ID. It needs to be valid and not expired with no signs of alterations (cropped, touched up, and enhanced colors).
- The photo should be clear, colored and taken from above with the ID laying flat on a surface.
- The entire ID should be uncut and visibly focused in the image including all four corners.
- Images should be in the JPG/JPEG, PNG, BMP or PDF file format.
- The ID should be in English.
Taskenator’s goal is to ensure that the platform is a safe and fair marketplace for everyone to use. To help us put this goal in place, we request all Users to complete our ID Verification process. Users verifying that they are who they are helps prevent fraud and strengthens Taskenators integrity. The ID verification also protects users by preventing someone else from running an account under your name and that no one except you is able to use your information.
As a customer, you will have access to our entire tasker base consisting of prospective workers who are experts in their field.
You will be able to post a task on our website, which will allow qualified taskers to compete for the task through a bidding process, where taskers disclose their expected rate and tell you a little about themselves, their experience, qualifications, etc. You will have the opportunity as a customer to talk to these taskers (like real interviews), and finally, choose the tasker you wish to work with.
As a freelancer (called ‘taskers’ on our platform), you will have access to the tasks posted by customers on our platform. These customers are looking for taskers from all walks of life and across all industries (see our categories list), which means that there is always a customer looking for someone with your skills to accomplish a task or project.
You will be submitting ‘bids’ to tasks that are posted on the platform. The bid will consist of your rate of pay to complete the project, a description of your qualifications and may include a cover letter about why you should be chosen for the task. If a customer likes what you are offering, they will send you a message then the interview stage will commence so you can further discuss the details of the task, your experience, etc.
Following this, you may be hired for the task. Sometimes, taskers are given a paid trial to ensure they know what they are doing, before being hired for the actual task posted.
A one time registration fee will be charged to Taskers and deducted from your first task payment. If you receive less than $10 on your first payment, the balance will be deducted from consecutive task payments that you receive until the full $10 registration fee is paid. You will only pay the registration fee once. If you cancel your registration with Taskenator and rejoin you will need to pay the registration fee again upon joining.
For fees refer to the Fees section in the Terms and Conditions.
Tokens are referred to as Credit or Connects on other Freelancing sites. Tokens are used to propose bids for tasks and provide a limit to Freelancers proposing on every single task.
There are 3 types of tokens:
Free tokens - provided every month to users
Offered tokens - offered by Taskenator and won by users
Purchased tokens - purchased via Taskenator
Taskenator will have offers for Users to win tokens based on relevant offers.
Tokens can be purchased on Taskenator by going through the side Menu and clicking Tokens Details under Tokens section. Tokens will be purchased in bundles as per the following table.

Taskenator is a global community designed to act as a networking body for customers and taskers. We do not play any role in the application, acceptance, and payment processes between the customer and tasker. As such, we do not provide work, simply the opportunity to connect taskers with potential customers.
